I am a proud product of Gaston County 草榴社区s as a 2001 graduate of North Gaston High 草榴社区. Upon graduation, I attended Gardner Webb University to pursue a career in nursing, but ultimately, life led me down a completely different career path. After transferring to Mars Hill College, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. My teaching career began at Bessemer City High 草榴社区 as a lateral entry biology teacher. Additionally, I taught science courses at McDowell High 草榴社区 and Lincolnton High 草榴社区. I received my Masters Degree in Executive Leadership Studies from Gardner Webb University, and have been serving the Cherryville community as an Assistant Principal since 2022. I live in Dallas, NC with my husband Lance and son Seth. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my son play sports, spending time with family, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and traveling.
