Prom 2025 Information

East Gaston High 草榴社区 will hold its annual Junior~Senior Prom on Friday,

April 4th, 2025 at CaroMont Health Park from 7pm - 11 pm.

Ticket QR Code will be required at the door

Information in the Student Handbook:

鉂� A student must be classified as a junior or senior in order to purchase prom tickets in February/March.

鉂� Sophomores are only allowed to attend as guests. Freshmen are not allowed to attend; this includes repeat 9th grade students.

鉂� Outside guests must be in good standing in their respective schools or community and must submit a Request to Attend Form (Guest Application). If it is determined by East Gaston High 草榴社区 that a guest is not in good standing, the guest will not be eligible to attend. Ensure your guest is approved before buying a ticket.

鉂� Once purchased, tickets are NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

鉂� Multiple discipline referrals may cause a student to be denied the privilege of attending prom.

鉂� Prom information will be posted on the school website and announced during afternoon announcements prior to the event.

鉂� Students must be in attendance at school on the day of prom in order to be admitted into prom.

鈼� Students can not exceed 10 unexcused absences for either semester. Any student that exceeds this attendance expectation in either semester will be required to submit an appeal form to become eligible to attend.

Prom 2025 / Expected Behavior / Information

鈼� April 4, 2025 is a scheduled full day of school. However, if students wish to have an early dismissal in order to count as a full day, students must be present by 8:30 and must stay until at least 11:45 per attendance policy and practices. Early Dismissal Forms will be available in the front office.

鈼� Possession or consumption of alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated and no student under the influence of either will be permitted to enter. Any violators will be subject to suspension and/or expulsion, and are subject to state law governing alcohol and narcotics.

鈼� Also, students are not permitted to bring in any types of drinks from any outside vendors.

鈼� All prom attendees will go through security upon arrival at CaroMont Health Park.

鈼� All students will be expected to conduct themselves with decorum and good manners.

鈼� Any infringements shall be met with expulsion from the prom, and the offenders will be turned over to the custody of their parents.

鈼� Students will NOT be permitted to leave the prom and reenter.

鈼� If your student is bringing a guest, the Outside Guest Form must be completed to purchase a ticket. The maximum guest attendance age is 20. A copy of the guest’s driver’s license is required before purchase of the ticket.

鈼� The Junior~Senior Prom is a formal event. Appropriate attire is required. NO JEANS
