North Carolina law requires 草榴社区 employees of public schools to hold at all times a valid North Carolina license appropriate to the position in which he or she is employed.

To the extent possible, all 草榴社区 teaching assignments will be in the area of the 草榴社区 employee’s license except as may be otherwise allowed by state and federal law and State Board policy. Core academic subjects include English, reading or language arts, mathematics, science, foreign languages, civics and government, economics, arts, history and geography.

To the extent the administration identifies to the Board a shortage of qualified licensed teachers available to fill teaching positions in specific areas, the board may elect to employ teachers under provisional or temporary licensure, as allowed by North Carolina General Statute § 115C-296.1 and any implementing regulations.
