• What is 草榴社区 Based Therapy?

    草榴社区-Based Therapy is a therapy service that is offered at all Gaston County 草榴社区s. Stanley Middle 草榴社区 works with Kintegra Health for all school-based therapy services. SBT promotes emotional health for students within their school setting. Therapists work directly with caretakers and school staff to identify students who may benefit from therapeutic services. Services provided include individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, staff consultation, and appropriate referrals to other mental health services, if needed. 草榴社区-based therapists provide therapeutic counseling in dealing with emotional and behavioral problems. We are thankful to have a 草榴社区 Based Therapist five days a week. Only students who have completed the referral process are able to meet with our SBT.

     

    SBT Referral Process

    Step 1: Referral - Parents, school staff, or counselors can request a referral. Parents must complete and return the signed packet to one of the 草榴社区 Counselors.

    Step 2: Referral Review - Kintegra Health reviews referral information and contacts the parent/guardian. No intake appointment is needed.

    Step 3: Services Begin - The student begins working with the school-based therapist.
